PRP Joint Restoration

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments use your own body’s healing mechanisms to regenerate tissues in injured areas such as tendons, ligaments, muscle and joints, to restore or establish normal function. Doctors have injected PRP into the knees of patients with osteoarthritis. A 2015 study found PRP injection were more effective than hyaluronic acid injections.  PRP and stem cells can also be used to treat acute sports injuries such as ankle sprains, knee sprains, and pulled hamstrings.

Stem Cells: are ethically gathered and harvested from umbilical tissue and are used for regenerative medicine.

PRP: We draw your own blood and use a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets to 5 x beyond normal and inject them into injured areas to promote healing.  PRP can be used to treat common overuse conditions including rotator cuff tendoninits, tennis elbow, and patellar tendonitis.
